Eggs, Milk: a game about necessities
Back in March 2020, as soon as there was even a rumour of the UK entering coronavirus lockdown, the panic buying started. But even after the first wave subsided, shopping remained transformed: the distancing, the paranoia, the fear of scarcity and the search for joy. Feelings, perhaps, that we'd had all along.
Eggs, Milk explores how one of our simplest domestic rituals became a window into ourselves. It is intended to unfold in real-time; a 15-minute shop that takes about 15 minutes to play. Choose wisely.
I hope you like it. And, if you're game, tweet me a screenshot of your final screen. You'll know the one.
